Become a member

The network comprises university and non-university reproductive medicine centres in the German-speaking countries of Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

In order to become a member of the network, certain criteria must be fulfilled permanently, demonstrably and bindingly in order to guarantee a qualitatively assured, uniform procedure oriented towards the well-being of patients.

• Regular participation in the working meetings is required. If a centre does not attend a working meeting twice in a row, it is assumed that there is no longer any interest in working in the spirit of the network, so that the centre is excluded.
• The centre will be included in the address list of the FertiPROTEKT Netzwerk e.V. homepage and in return will refer to the FertiPROTEKT Netzwerk e.V. on its homepage. An internet link of the centre to the FertiPROTEKT homepage must be established.
• All fertility-protective options must be considered during counselling. If not all techniques are routinely carried out at the centre, cooperation must be established with another centre that has them available.
• All patients advised and treated must be correctly documented using the prescribed documentation forms.
• The implementation of fertility-protective measures is not profit-oriented. In Germany, the services are billed according to the GOÄ without an increase rate, in Switzerland according to TARMED and in Austria according to the corresponding equivalent.
